Radical Acceptance

There are only so many controllable factors in your efforts to create sustainable health & wellness.

If we did it ALL, all of the time, we would be working on our healing constantly.

For some, this can be a way to avoid actually LIVING.

What’s key is to understand what your non-negotiables are for maintaining ground floor wellness.

For me, it’s movement and journaling.

For some women, it’s sleep, time with girlfriends, protein-packed nutrition, proficiency in their professional lives, or maintaining a warm & loving home environment.

The point is that it’s impossible to do it all. Trying to is complicity with the superwoman narrative that keeps women trapped in scarcity thinking and busyness as a lifestyle.

The result of that? Stress, which breeds imbalance & disease.

What’s needed is a strong sense of centeredness, which aids in facing stressors and surfing the inevitable changing waves of life, without the wipeouts.

Your healing journey must include discovery of the essentials of your daily rhythm - your doses of lifestyle medicine - that keep you buoyant and aligned.

Everything else is a practice of radical acceptance - that it will get tended to as your cup is sufficiently filled. You will turn towards it.

Relaxing into this knowing, and trusting a greater timeline, is a gift you give your nervous system.

Affirm: All is well. There is time and space for everything I need.

What are your bare minimums for daily health?

When women can reclaim where they’ve given themselves away without reciprocation, they begin to restore, and to heal.

This starts with a journey of self honesty, and support for owning what’s been lost.

Your body and your symptom picture are the clues. Becoming healthy is a dynamic pursuit of restoring your authenticity, giving you the freedom to let go of survival adaptation, and to return to your vital reasons for being here.

Choose supportive avenues for your health.

Heal the Whole You...

My intention to help women and mothers live their best lives was born from a long search for the kind of care I had been seeking on my own health journey; care that would weave together the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual experiences of my life.

This comprehensive approach to healing has become my life’s work and is what I am committed to offering every woman I sit with, to help and support her on her own journey towards an integrated, healthy, thriving life.

As a Licensed Naturopathic Physician, I work with women to balance hormones, improve moods, and regulate gut function as a means to achieve sustainable health. I aim to do this as non-invasively as possible, upholding the philosophy that our bodies are designed for balance if we give them what they need to function optimally.
