So proud of all of our Paralympic athletes competing on the biggest stage in the world. It takes an enormous amount of dedication and support to make it happen. Great organizations like Angel City Sports High Fives Foundation Move United Sport play a huge role!

Sometimes, you just gotta make your own way.
Ezra Frech began his journey competing in events like the Move United Member University of Central Oklahoma Endeavor Games. But Oklahoma is a long way from Los Angeles, and travel is one of the most insurmountable barriers to looking to compete in events.
So, to fill the need for adaptive sports programming in Southern California, Ezra and his Hollywood-connected family founded Angel City Sports. Now, folks in SoCal have a place to come together, try out new sports and activities, and compete as the adaptive athletes they dream of being. And with the two-time Team USA Paralympic Games Gold medalist carrying the banner, Angel City Sports is poised to be a positive impact on generations of disabled people to come.
Sometimes, you just gotta make your own way, and bring others with you.

Seems like yesterday that I built this van. I remember every nook and cranny, Every bloody knuckle, every thing I learned, and above all - the look on the customer’s face when we delivered it. 25 years truly flies by. What a surprise to see it today and learn it’s going to help another family. I’m truly blessed and proud that my Golden Boy family and I have been able to help provide freedom and independence to others for so many years. Thank you all for the memories. Looking forward to many more.

GoldenBoy Mobility - Wheelchair Accessible Modifications and Vehicles
GoldenBoy Mobility started 40 years ago as a manufacturing company where Gary Sr. and his brother, Chris, designed, developed, and manufactured the GoldenBoy wheelchair lift. In 1978, Gary Sr. opened his own store whose motto was “Customer service first!” GoldenBoy specialized in van conversions, lifts, driving controls, and soon became a premier location for any custom modification.
Gary’s son, Gary Jr., grew up in the mobility industry. He has fond childhood memories of spending time with his dad and customers in the shop. Like his father, he developed a passion for the industry and started working in the shop by answering phones, then served as a technician, maintenance supervisor, general manager and has now taken over the business.
Gary Jr. and the staff at GoldenBoy still focus on putting customer service first. This is a family business where our customers are part of our family. At GoldenBoy, you will be treated with respect and customer service while our experienced technicians work on your vehicle. We look forward to welcoming you to our family.
