Dr. Thomas Dix

Dr. Thomas Dix Dr. Dix was born in Arizona, and has lived in both Florida and Georgia. He has been in the dental profession since 1975.

He joined the Marine Corps, and then he originally went to college for a masters degree in biochemistry at UGA. He was in the masters program at UGA when he was accepted at Medical College of Georgia’s Dental School. He is married to Maria and they have built their new home in Austell. They enjoy riding his Harley and going to exotic places to scuba dive. They are both active participants in the annual 2-day walk for breast cancer.

We are thrilled to share some exciting updates about the future of our dental practice! After much thoughtful planning, Dr. Dix and Dr. Pooya have made the decision to move to a new and improved location. This move is part of our commitment to providing the best possible care to you, our valued patients.

First and foremost, we want to assure you that Dr. Dix is NOT retiring. He will continue to practice alongside Dr. Pooya as we begin this exciting new chapter together.

Our new location it just a short distance from our current office and is in a more convenient area. It offers incredible opportunities to grow and improve, featuring modern updates, and will be designed to provide the highest level of comfort and care. The updated space, combined with our amazing team, will help enhance your experience and continue delivering the highest level of care you deserve.

In addition to the move, we’re also excited to announce a new name: West Cobb Dental Studio. This name reflects our vision of creating a modern, patient-focused practice that prioritizes your comfort, health, and confidence.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our new location and show you everything we’ve been working on. Thank you for your continued trust and support as we take these exciting steps forward. Stay tuned for more details about the move, including the transition and timeline.
