It all about the Flag…One thread at a time.

One thread at a time.
It took the hearts and heartaches,
the limbs and lives, the dreams and sorrows,
the visions and victims, the twinkles and tears,
to make every thread in our flag.
From 13 stars to 50 stars,
from a nation that needed help
to become a nation
to a nation that helps protect
and preserve other nations.
All the threads make up our flag.
Every stitch and every thread.
Red, White, and Blue.
When we disrespect the flag,
we remove one thread.
One thread at a time.
When we stand under the flag,
we tighten the stitches and
strengthen the threads.
One thread at a time.
Our children learn from it.
Women cried under it.
Men died for it.
One thread at a time.
