It's been a lively week already, and we're only on Tuesday. Monday's Carnival Games and Snacks were a hit, and we followed it up with Papa Murphy's Pizza and a movie today.

Reaching a 20-year milestone is a notable achievement, but recognizing someone for 40 years of service is a rare and exceptional honor. This year, we celebrated not one, but two remarkable ladies! Let me tell you all what happened at Pinecrest this weekend.... First we rescheduled Bingo (Don’t worry, no one was hurt in the process)…. Then the best thing ever happened, Elvis was in the building! Everyone enjoyed an amazing show. It was music to everyone’s ears. A little secret for you all, we had residents singing & dancing 💃. Okay, okay, the next day we had BINGO ❤️

We want to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July! We started our day off with taking a bus load of our Veterans in the parade, where we proudly displayed their names on the bus. Our residents and families all lined up lathered in sun screen enjoying freeze pops and ice water while watching the parade. Their day won’t end there! They have live entertainment this afternoon and then fireworks later this evening. Thank you to all of the families and staff that made today a perfect day! Have a happy and safe 4th of July!!

On Friday we had our Spring Formal. It was a wonderful day! The ladies spent their morning getting ready, they had their hair and makeup done in the activity room. Some of the men came down for the coffee and good company. We would like to thank our staff, Carney Nadeau NHS, and UP Health System Home Care & Hospice (Escanaba) for helping make the day even more special. The smiles, the laughter, the music it was truly a perfect day!

We are having our annual Easter celebration this Saturday @ 10:30am cst in the MPR room. We will have Pinatas and other fun activities for ages Toddler to 12 years old. We are VERY Sorry for the late notice.

The residents and activities department here at Pinecrest would like to wish the Carney Nadeau BetaWolves team 6637 good luck as they head down to Saginaw to compete in the state competition!
The Activity Department is donating pop cans to the team to help with some of the cost. Good luck BetaWolves!!!
