Our puptastic brother/sister duo Nala and Nitro have been waiting to find their new family for 145 days… 😕 They watch as their friends find new families and everyday they long for one of their own. Nala and Nitro are such an awesome pair, they love to play and romp around the yard and they really enjoy going for long walks together. We keep telling them their time is coming and we sure hope their wish comes true very soon! ❤️🐾

Two-week reminder!! We are closing December 19-January 5th. Doc and I are traveling to Germany to visit our son, Jonathan. If you need anything please call us soon to have it taken care of. Are you planning to board for Christmas? Make sure vaccinations are updated. Medication refills should be taken care of early, even though Ashley and Emily will be available.

Does anyone recognize this mushroom? Stem is about 4 inches tall, cap is about 5 inches across— it’s pretty big. Growing in Hermansville at the edge of a whit pine woods. Has gills, spore print is white— pinkish under a microscope. Is it safe to eat?

⭐️A few updates for the upcoming months!⭐️

We will be closed Thursday November 24th and Friday November 25th for Thanksgiving! We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!

We will be closing the clinic December 19th - January 4th. We will resume normal business hours Thursday January 5th. If your pet usually needs a refill of meds around that time please make sure to fill them early! If you have any questions please let Emily or Ashley know!

Are you ready for Howl-O-ween?

My favorite time of year!! We all get to let our inner spirit come out….

But, as a health professional, I have to urge caution. Pet emergency hotlines are on overload during Halloween— chocolate, Xylitol, choking, and pets getting scared and running off.

Keep your human treats up high, or locked in a cupboard.

Make sure pets are wearing a secure collar with ID tag. Even if you want them to stay indoors—they can dash out in a second.

Set them up in a secure, quiet room where they can stay safe.

And enjoy yourself knowing that your pets are safe.
