I got this call one evening few weeks ago. The horse did something while turned out. She was bleeding and super sore in her medial heel quarter. I floated that heel and applied a bar shoe, and she walked off sound 😎

This horse was on a trail ride along the Appomattox River and a stick penetrated her sole and broke off. These are pictures from when the vet took the stick out and from when I shod the horse with a hospital plate for easy everyday cleaning
