I have gotten a lot of questions from colleagues and customers about “THE FEED BUNK”. Well the feed bunk is representation of Heartland Co-op standing behind me and my fiance Karlie and our move to Eastern Iowa where Karlie has always and I now call home.

I will still be through Central Iowa weekly for my customers out there but I will now have feed on hand at our home here in Wyoming, IA and am extremely excited to build new relationships with new producers.

I will have everything from cattle feeds all the way down to dog and cat food.

Arranging direct ship bulk commodities and products will not be a problem!

Keep Feeding!!

The April average price for fed steers in the 5-area marketing region was $213.80 per cwt, about $30 above last year. In the first week of May, prices averaged $220.97

🐂Ready to get pairs out to pasture? Be aware of the possibilities of grass tetany when turning stock out to pasture. Heartland Co-op offers a Hi-Mag mineral as well as hi-mag tubs and blocks to help fight against grass tetany. Tubs will help take some of the grazing pressure off those pastures as they have supplemental protein included and optimize forage utilization.

Calves are hitting the ground and we are starting to see some green throughout those pastures here in Iowa which means it’s time to start thinking about creep feed!

Heartland Co-op is offering the Kent Nutrition Creep pellet at a great price for customers who contract their creep feed with us. Both rumensin and bovatec options!
