March is Colorectal (Colon) Cancer Awareness Month.

➡️ The Facts:
🔹 Screening rates are increasing, and deaths have declined among older adults.
🔹 Colorectal cancer is the only major cancer rising in people under 50.
🔹 75% of younger patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage.
🔹 The survival rate for metastatic colorectal cancer is just 13%.
🔹 For average risk adults, regular screenings should begin at age 45.
