We are honored to be recognized with the 2025 Wisconsin Cancer Impact Award! 💛 Yesterday at the Wisconsin Cancer Collaborative Summit, our team joined fellow RWHC member hospitals and leaders to share the successes and challenges of expanding access to cancer screenings and improving outcomes in rural communities.

Yesterday, RWHC Member Hospitals Crossing Rivers Health, Prairie Ridge Health, and RWHC’s Cheryl DeVault presented at the Wisconsin Cancer Collaborative's Summit on ‘Closing the Cancer Gap: Prevention & Screening in Rural Wisconsin.’

Their teams shared successes and challenges in expanding access to cancer screenings and improving outcomes. 💛

We’re proud to celebrate two big honors: Crossing Rivers Health received the 2025 WI Cancer Impact Award, and Cheryl was named the 2025 WI Cancer Collaborative Champion. 🎉

This week, we celebrate our Environmental Services Team! EVS plays a very important role that directly impacts every department of Crossing Rivers Health. Clean surfaces, floors and linen are an essential piece, not only for our customers and patients, but each employee as well. We continually receive compliments from patients and staff on our beautiful facility – and we have the EVS team to thank for that. To every member of the EVS team, thank you for all the hard work you put in each and every day.

If you’ve ever wondered how operating rooms seem to run so smoothly, you have a surgical technologist to thank.

They’re responsible for preparing the operating room, arranging necessary equipment and instrumentation, and assisting physicians during surgery. They are an essential element in the surgical team and that’s why we honor them September 21-27 during National Surgical Technologists Week.

Join us in appreciation for National IT Professionals Day as we recognize our technical experts for everything they do. It takes a solid set of skills and talents to fill the shoes of an I.T. pro so, today, we say thanks to the people who come to fix our devices when they stop working the way they should — the behind-the-scenes operators without whom we’d be back in front of an archaic chalkboard, doing things the hard way.
