Sadly, on April 29, the Louisiana Department of Hospital will revoke our license and will be closing Prairieville Family Hospital.

The revocation is not related to patient care in any way. It's due to a law that requires a hospital to have a certain number of patients per day for a minimum 2-night stay. We were assured that they were not going to close us, but on Monday, at our hearing, they refused to grant us the extension we requested.

We appreciate any help our followers might give to help us over this hurdle so that our license will be extended so that we can continue to provide our heartfelt compassionate care to this wonderful community.
