*Cancelled* Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Missing New Orleans Woman

UPDATE: Carolyn Sanders was located safe. The Silver Alert is cancelled. Please direct any questions to the New Orleans Police Department.

Orleans Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of New Orleans Police Department for 63-year-old, Carolyn Sanders, who was last seen on December 6, 2024, at University Medical Center, 2000 Canal Street, in New Orleans Louisiana. She was discovered missing at approximately 08:00 p.m. after walking away from the hospital earlier in the day. Sanders suffers from a medical condition that impairs her judgement. Louisiana State Police received the request to issue this alert at 09:21 p.m. this evening.

Sanders is a black female with grey hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’4” tall and weighs approximately 173 lbs. She was last seen wearing a white puff jacket and blue jeans. It is believed that Sanders is traveling on foot in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Sanders should immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at 504-658-6319 or call 911. All inquiries concerning this matter should be directed to the New Orleans Police Department.
