The first day of fall is a timely reminder of how important safety becomes as our loved ones age. Falls are one of the leading causes of injury for older adults, and the risk is even higher for those living with Alzheimer’s.

This season, many of our offices are walking to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care. It's one more way we support families facing the challenges of aging and memory loss.

🌟 Welcome Erin! 🌟

Many of you may have already seen Erin’s friendly face, but we’d like to officially welcome her to the Pratt Interim Healthcare team! Erin joined us in May and brings with her 22 years of nursing experience. She is a proud graduate of Pratt Community College.

Erin has been married to her husband, Frank, for 26 years, and together they’ve raised two boys, Jaden and Zach. Now that her sons are grown, Erin is enjoying some new hobbies—like scrolling her phone guilt-free and catching up on the well-deserved sleep they once stole from her.

We are so fortunate to have Erin on our team here in the Pratt Branch, and we’re excited for the knowledge, care, and compassion she brings with her. Welcome, Erin! 💙

Today, we had the honor of participating in a funeral for a beloved patient, offering the Nightingale Tribute on behalf of nurses everywhere.

As part of the tribute, we shared these words:
“She was there… When a calming presence was all that was needed, she was there. In the excitement and miracle of birth, or in the mystery and loss of life, she was there.”

These words speak to the heart of what it means to be a nurse. We are not only caregivers, but witnesses to life’s most profound moments. Being able to honor this patient one last time, and to stand beside their family in remembrance, is a privilege that humbles us.

Nursing is more than a profession—it is a calling. And today, we were reminded why we do what we do: to bring comfort, dignity, and compassion when it matters most.

Today, we want to shine a well-deserved spotlight on Erica Dipman, a leader whose dedication and compassion truly set the standard in our home health and hospice agency.

Erica’s unwavering commitment to both our team and the patients we serve is nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to lead with empathy and grace, even in the face of difficult situations, makes her a source of strength for all of us. When times get tough, we know we can rely on Erica for her steady guidance, thoughtful support, and genuine care.

Her open-door policy and willingness to listen remind us that leadership isn’t just about making decisions — it’s about understanding the people behind the work. Erica, thank you for being a leader we can trust, learn from, and lean on. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for the positive impact you make every day.

Spotlight Alert! ‼️

We’re a little late in sharing this, but we’re thrilled to officially welcome Cierra Rickard to the Interim HealthCare family! Cierra joined us back in September, bringing with her over a decade of experience as a CNA since 2013. Her dedication to helping others and her passion for supporting patients with their daily activities have already made a meaningful impact.

Outside of work, Cierra enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and getting creative with crafts. We’re so grateful to have her on our team, and we can’t wait to see all the great things she continues to do!

Welcome to the Pratt Team, Liz Jellison!

We are excited to welcome Liz Jellison to our Pratt team! Originally from Protection, KS, Liz has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant for over 26 years, specializing in acute care, acute rehab, and patient education. She has been serving the Pratt community for the past 19 years at our local hospital and is now ready to embark on a new journey in Home Health Care.

Liz is married to Matt Jellison and is a proud mom to Jordyn, McKenzie, Isaiah, and Emma. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in Pratt and the surrounding counties.
