Leading a healthier lifestyle is the key to cancer prevention! To reduce your risk: Avoid the low fiber/high fat diet (aka the Western diet). The American Cancer Society recommends a diet high in fiber(whole grains, 5 servings each of fruits & vegetables), low in fat, limiting processed foods and red meat. A healthier lifestyle also involves regular exercise of at least 30-60 min./day and not smoking.
