Good afternoon!
We hope this day finds you all
doing well (and if not…maybe we can help & you should book yourself a massage lol)
Please bear with us through this post as we tend to feel the need to over explain ourselves to you when it comes to these kinds of things. 🥴
This is one of those posts that we hate having to make, but inevitably as much as we would like, it just can no longer continue to be avoided. We don’t take any of this lightly so please understand it comes from a place of much thought, prayer, & even agony (yes agony because we are having to talk price changes & money is never a fun topic of conversation for anyone). 🙃
As self employed massage therapists, we are hit with many different operating expenses from our everyday supplies to our taxes (self employment tax is truly absurd and definitely not for the faint of heart). These expenses also come without the benefits other jobs may receive such as yearly pay raises or paid vacation & sick leave so when we don’t work we don’t get paid. Even when we do choose to take time off we are never truly off as we are always reachable by phone call or text and never get to completely disconnect (yes we do get contacted all hours of the day and night…thus we are never really closed). Taking a day off comes with having to pre-plan much in advance…we don’t get to just go into work and decide we want to take the next day off as we are usually already booked with appts hence why we only allow our schedules to be viewed online 30 days out at a time to try to give us the opportunity to attend things that may occur with our friends & families. There have been many times things have arisen last minute particularly when it comes to our kids school schedules and we have made the decision to miss it because a client is already scheduled and we choose to put our clients first rather than ask you to reschedule your appt. Yes we know this is the profession we chose to go into so you must know we truly love what we do in order to be able to continue doing it each day. (don’t get us started on how physically and mentally exhausting this profession is on our bodies & how much we overlook our own aches and pains every day to help our clients with theirs.)
We don’t tell you all of this to ask for any sympathy, but to try to help you understand that as much as we love what we do ultimately it is still our job and like you we have to make a living in order to help provide for our families. This profession is not one we got into to become financially wealthy; it truly is a profession that requires us to put a lot of our heart and soul into and we hope each of you truly feels that when you come to see us. When you are on our tables, you are receiving our full 100% time and attention. We wish that we would be recognized by medical insurance as we know about 99% of our clients come for therapeutic massage to help alleviate pain accompanied by certain medical conditions and not for the simple luxury of getting a relaxation massage.
With all of this being said, we still want to give you the opportunity to prepare for it and not feel we brought it all on immediately so the below prices will not go into effect until September 1, 2025.
Please note that these prices weren’t just randomly chosen..they are what the majority of other therapists in our area are currently charging for their services.
We do not charge extra for the type of massage you receive.
30 minutes $50
60 minutes $90
90 minutes $125
We feel extremely blessed to be able to continue doing what we love to do and are forever grateful for each of you that comes our way…you truly are more to us than just clients. 🥰
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to speak with us at the time of your appointment. ❤️
