We have had a lot of fantastic young people come work with us for varying periods of time over the last 20 years. They’ve turned into some great and accomplished adults. But every once in a while, someone really special comes along and raises the bar. Cassidy is one of those people. Cassidy came to us 3 years ago as a post-op hip patient and was hired before she was discharged from therapy. She has made us better every day. I could make this post very long with a list of the reasons I appreciate and respect her so much but I’ll sum it up in one sentence. Everything about her is exemplary and what we all hope for in a friend and coworker.
So today was a tough day at Promise. It was Cassidy’s last day. She is finishing up Ultrasound Technician school and moving on to bigger and better things. She and her new husband, Calvin, have a lot of living to do.
Cassidy, we are so thankful that you were ours for a while. Won’t be the same without you. You are a superstar and don’t forget it.

Last week, one of our own returned from a six month deployment. Sophia is finally back with her family and happiness abounds.
