We want to share an important funding opportunity for Alabama families: the CHOOSE Act is now accepting new applicants.

What is the CHOOSE Act?

The CHOOSE Act (Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education Act) is an Alabama state program that provides eligible families with Education Savings Account (ESA) funds to help cover approved educational expenses for K–12 students. For many families, this includes the ability to use CHOOSE Act funds toward therapy services provided by approved education service providers.

Therapy Services Through Little Peach Pediatric Therapy

We are pleased to share that Little Peach Pediatric Therapy is an approved education service provider under the CHOOSE Act. This means that eligible families may use CHOOSE Act funds to support their child’s therapy services with our clinic. These funds can help reduce out-of-pocket costs and increase access to consistent, high-quality therapy services.

Approved therapy-related uses may include:

-Speech Therapy
-Occupational Therapy
-Physical Therapy
-ABA Therapy
-Other educationally related therapeutic services

Who May Qualify?

The CHOOSE Act Parent Guide States that "priority is given to participating students and siblings of participating students, as well as students who are dependents of active-duty service members who are enrolled in or assigned to a priority school (pg 5, Choose Act Parent Guide)".

Students must:

-Be Alabama residents
-Be enrolled in K–12
-Meet household income eligibility guidelines

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in supporting the behind-the-scenes operations that help our clinics run smoothly. If you are dependable, efficient, and enjoy working in a supportive, mission-driven environment, we would love to hear from you. Previous experience is preferred.
