NAZCARE, Inc.’s Story

Northern Arizona Consumers Advancing Recovery and Empowerment started as a pilot program for NARBHA setting out to provide peer support services to those with mental illness, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Having proven successful as a model, it was put out on its own in 2001 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with just 3 centers- Prescott, Flagstaff, and Snowflake. Since it has grown to 8 centers- Prescott, Bullhead City, Kingman, Yuma, Apache Junction, Show Low, Eagar, and Cottonwood.

NAZCARE, Inc. is a PFRO (peer and family run organization). We offer peer support services, peer support training, evening Warm Line (365 days per year), transitional and permanent housing, life skills, and supported employment services.

We invite you to stop by one of our centers and talk to any of our wonderful staff about our services.
