MINERAL BATHS 🛁
Also know as medicine baths.
This can be used for children and adults. Dosages vary as do our personal needs. As always speak with your medical provider as this is not medical advice. Just sharing what I add to my girls’ bath time routine to ramp up their mineral intake.
Being that our soil no longer carries the same nutrient profiles that it once did, we have to take extra measures to supplement what is missing.
Adding minerals to baths or even just foot soaks, is one of the easiest ways to do so.
1. Magnesium flakes .minerals - magnesium chloride. This is the GOAT imo and is added every single time there is a bath running. Magnesium is responsible for over 3,700 enzymatic reactions that bind to proteins and hormones!! In other words it has a lock and key mechanism and we need adequate amounts in order for our proteins and hormones to perform efficiently.
Magnesium is easily depleted by stress, be it environmental or emotional, and is such an important mineral from head to toe 🛁
2. Epsom salts - Magnesium sulfate. This type of magnesium has some detox properties and I like to add to their bath if the air quality that day was horrible, if they swam in chlorinated water, or they are fighting a bug.
3. Baking soda - sodium bicarbonate. It helps neutralize pH balance, helps soothe a sunburn or skin irritation, among many other health benefits. I add maybe once a wk or more during times of illness or skin issue.
4. Borax - Boron is one of the most underrated minerals imo. It supports bone health by helping absorb magnesium and calcium, improves brain function, hormone balance, reduces inflammation as well as helps absorb vitamin D. Also great for candida or yeast. Very little goes a long way. I use maybe a teaspoon up to a tablespoon when needed.

I received some great advice recently and thought I’d pass it along.

✨Change is not happening “to you”
It’s happening “FOR you” ✨

Change is hard

Nobody likes it

It’s rare any of us accept it with open arms

Yet really it all comes down to perspective

The frequency of embracing change with curiosity and gratitude revs at a much higher vibration than the frequency of resentment or the “why me” mentality

This perspective helps with the concept that you’re in a perfect place at the perfect moment and it is aligning you with the higher version of what you’re working towards
Take it one day at a time
embrace everything that’s happening and be so thankful for it because it’s literally a gift to you

Believe that you’re gonna find how this was the next step to get you to where you needed to be.

And to stay present in the moment.

Just work with what you can in the moment, what your next step is, and what feels right to you FOLLOW THAT FEELING
Realize it’s a mirror of what you need to work on. It’s a reflection of what you subconsciously have been asking for!

We all know God has a plan but He never provides it the way we want it. He always provides it in a way where it was SO MUCH BETTER than we have could have hoped for.
the more you can be thankful for what what is happening, the more you can flow with it, the more things will align even quicker than you can imagine
And so while I was presented a few unexpected changes with tough conversations, I still focused on the gratitude of it all.
And it has helped tremendously

I thought this would be a good time to reintroduce myself!

Hi 👋🏼 my name is Judy, I’m a 43yo mom of two cuties, a wife to an Ocean Lifeguard Specialist, obsessed with backyard chickens, conspiracy truth and most of all FOOD!
Nutrition Ju**ie was established in 2014 as I began my new career in holistic health as a certified clinical nutritionist and integrative health coach.
I teamed with several medical practices to help guide their patients on how to improve bloodwork via nutrition and lifestyle medicine, and absolutely LOVED it!
After having my second born in 2023, I decided to put my career on hold and become a full time SAHM. But thanks to this page, I was able to continue sharing my passion for health and truth.
My evolution really began in 2005 when I couldn’t get rid of a knee issue and was recommended to see a certified nutritionist and homeopath. That is when my Pandora’s box opened to energetics.
During those sessions not only was my knee pain cured via emotional work, but a virus that was deemed incurable by allopathic MD’s was no longer traceable in my bloodwork thanks to homeopathy, again a medicine that is rooted in energetics.

As I am writing this, I realize how I came full circle to present day. I used to sling detox kits, parasite cleanses, metabolic programs and supplement protocols just like everybody else in the field, but after taking the Root Cause Protocol certification course in 2022, I got back to food first and somatic healing second.
So when you watch my stories (which is where most of the action takes place) you’ll see shared information that discusses quantum energetics, somatic healing and superfoods that nourish the body, mind and soul. You’ll see cooking demos, recipe inspiration and how to read ingredient labels and why it matters.
You’ll also see bits of my regular day to day life, a side hustle selling shampoo and a splash of rabbit hole ventures, as I am ceased to be amazed at how deep the lies run from what we’ve been taught for centuries.
If any of this rings true to you, then stick around. It’s gonna be a fun ride!

How to make *nourishing* HOT CHOCOLATE ☕️
The batter:
-one raw egg yolk
-one scoop chocolate collagen
-a dash of real maple syrup
Whisk together until a thick gooey batter forms
Pour in a little of your warmed milk. (We use RAW MILK for its healthy bacteria, minerals and enzymes). Mix until blended well
Pour remaining warmed milk and give it one last stir
Sip with pleasure and satisfaction knowing that you provided one of the most nourishing beverages to you and yours 😋

Our gut lining can regenerate cells within just a few days with the power of food!!
Food can either fuel inflammation or heal inflammation.
After a weekend of fun or maybe just a busy week with not the greatest food / snack choices, I’ll focus the next several days on foods that can help reset the gut bacteria.
Mainly with HOMEMADE STOCK or BROTH. This is 🔐!!! Packed with nutrients that will seal and heal the gut lining. A little goes a long way especially in tiny tummies.
I find soups to be the easiest yet most nourishing meal you can provide for your family, especially when on a sugar mend.
Other foods that help quickly reset the gut: kefir, fermented or pickled veggies, cruciferous veggies, and collagen.

Lastly comes the tough love. Saying NO ♾️ to snacks that are made with refined sugars and carbs and not cave into the detox drama! This is the hard part. But I kinda asked for it when I allowed so much junk to be eaten in the first place. So now I pay my dues. And surrender to the meltdowns that usually occur within 24-48 hours as their gut bacteria is resetting. And by day three we are *usually* back on track and the “sugar dragons” are put back to sleep.
Our favorite health book “Buddies in My Belly” is read during these times as a reminder to why mom cares so much 🥺🥰 It’s an absolute must as it illustrates the HOW food affects mood. Children are sponges and are SO smart! This is a great tool to use to help you explain why food matters!
