Motherhood. Siterhood. Divine Feminine.
I feel like I could write an entire book series on just what these pictures represent. Maybe one day, I will.
“Family sticks together” is only beneficial when intentions are pure and divinely aligned for what’s best for the other person as well as what’s best for you.
Anyone that has met my daughter has nothing but the most positive feedback. And they finish it off with “good job, Mom!”
I’ve posted in the past without asking, and she brought my awareness to this. I apologized and told her I just want to love her out loud, the way no one ever has me. She condoned this post.
Me trusting my inner knowing over anyone else’s voice… has afforded this young woman a path of HER CHOOSING!
Age 15. Dual enrolled sophomore in HS AND community college. 1yr away from an associates. Already rocking the culinary skills, communication skills, and a 3.0 gpa and rising!
She takes her psychotherapy and her cognitive therapies seriously. She loves volunteering and earning money for Youth For Freedom with pet sitting and Reiki Energy healing clients.
She feels SAFE in her own skin, speaks her mind, and expresses her desires! She has dreams and goals and a love for spontaneity and adventure!
A mutual post of gratification, for me AND for her. I did the hard work, have all the battle scars, went against every familial and societal expectation, and chose MYSELF: So that she could choose HERSELF!
I’m loving her outloud and allowing myself to love ME out loud, in a completely new mindset—the one that no longer carries anyone’s baggage. Not even my own.
