MARIE HOWELL

Many of you will remember Marie’s stunning art from the gallery. Her giant divine feminine images, which Marie describes as Contemporary Sacred Icons, were always one of our biggest attractions.

Marie creates monumental embellished acrylic paintings and inspired assemblage sculptures in which she repurposes unique and eclectic found “treasures” into new creations. Her work has been featured in the Phoenix Home and Garden magazine and was included in a slideshow at the United Nations Conference on the Status of Women.

Marie is also a certified Cosmic Smashbooking teacher and guide. She offers private and group classes on creating your own cosmic smashbook, a roadmap on your personal spiritual journey.

Mary has enjoyed a traditional career in market research and product development. This experience served her well when she turned her attention to creating the self- published community anthologies ''Voices of Magic'' and ''Voices of Magic II''. KERRI CARILLO
Kerri studied art at the University of Texas – Austin, with plans to become an art teacher. The classes at the University left me yearning for more, so I started exploring art classes at the community college. She later took a class in stained glass. She knew that glass was what I wanted to work with for as long as I could.

Kerri offers “Make & Take” workshops in Prescott. They are a fun experience in a relaxed environment, as the finished piece can be completed by the end of class without feeling rushed.

The Great Grandmother cauldron calls to us on this day to celebrate the fullness of our Grandmother Moon. This is the Corn in Tassel Moon, reminding us of the unseen and unknown abundance that is waiting for us.
We will be creating a sacred potion, embracing our full moon journals as we place our first prayer within them and celebrate self-mastery.
The Lion’s Gate opens on August 8th and closes on the 12th, so just a sweet reminder this ceremony falls within this astrological alignment.
