What a magical afternoon at Alta Vista Senior Living as we hosted our very own Senior Prom in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona! 💃🕺

Our residents had the joy of sharing the dance floor with an amazing group of staff from both Alta Vista and The Boys & Girls Club, creating an afternoon filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable memories. From dancing and smiles to wonderful conversations across generations, the afternoon truly showed how special it is when our community comes together.

Moments like these remind us that joy, friendship, and celebration have no age limit. ❤️

This retirement home truly feels like a community, not just a facility. From the moment you walk in, the staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They take the time to know each resident personally, which makes such a difference.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the common areas are inviting, and there are always activities going on -- from game nights to exercise classes and social events. The dining options are thoughtfully prepared and offer a nice variety.

Most importantly, there's a real sense of dignity and respect here. Families can feel confident knowing their loved ones are safe, supported, and surrounded by compassionate care.

💘 Love Was in the Air at Alta Vista! 💘

Our Valentine’s Day dining celebration was filled with laughter, friendship, and delicious chef-prepared cuisine! 🌹🍽️

Residents enjoyed a beautifully decorated dining room, sweet treats, and the joy of sharing a special meal together. From heartfelt conversations to festive desserts, it was a wonderful reminder that love comes in many forms — friendship, community, and shared moments.

A big thank you to our amazing culinary and dining teams for creating such a warm and memorable experience for our residents. 💕

We’re thankful when our residents take the time to share their experiences:

"I thoroughly enjoy living at Alta Vista. The facility is wonderful. I love the high ceilings, beautiful decor, and open space with all the beautiful views.
I appreciate the helpful friendliness of the staff, even if I'm having an "off" day.
I take advantage of all the exercise classes and especially look forward to Silver Sneakers and Yoga with Terri. I can go into the yoga class, in pain, tell Terri and she will use Yoga movements that alleviate the pain. It's such a blessing. I wish we could do Yoga three days a week. I arranged my life around being able to take advantage of both of these classes.
I'm grateful for the transportation services as I don't feel safe driving myself to my appointments.
Anything that lessens my stress is a plus.
I would also like to give a "shout out" to the culinary staff who are doing so many wonderful things to assist me with my food allergies. They are relieving my stress by providing options I can consume safely and answering my many questions numerous times per day. I'm grateful everyone is so patient and willing to check out each meal to keep me safe. It's great to have staff who are knowledgeable about items in my meal that may cause a reaction. I eat all my meals here and I am so grateful I don't have to shop and prepare them for myself. My days are so busy taking advantage of activities and playing and teaching games that I wouldn't have the time anyway. I enjoy the selection we have on our menus and daily specials.
My life "flows so smoothly" at Alta Vista it's no wonder I often say I'm on a cruise and this beautiful building is my ship.
