My name is Angela Seesholtz, and I’m a licensed professional counselor specializing in work with children, teens, adults, and families. I’m reaching out to introduce Resilient Brain Prescott, as a mental health group and resource for patients who may benefit from mental health support.

My group practice integrates evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, Mindfulness, and Child-Centered Play Therapy, with a trauma-informed lens. I’m particularly passionate about supporting clients through anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. We also offer Neurofeedback to help support healthy brain functioning.

We accept UHC, Aetna, Cigna, and BCBS.

We'd love to connect further—whether to share more about our approach or simply be available as a referral option when needed.

Our office number is 928-285-0530, or you can also fax referrals to 928-268-0147

We are excited to have Terri Stowell join our team at Resilient Brain Prescott! Terri has many years experience, she brings a ton of knowledge and expertise in treating all individuals, first responders, couples, children, teens, and adult adults. She is an EMDR provider and she is accepting new clients, in person in Prescott, AZ as well as telehealth availability! Here’s a little more from Terri! “I strive to empower my clients by providing them with the tools and guidance they need to navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and foster meaningful, lifelong change. I have had the privilege of working extensively with veterans, first responders, the elderly, teenagers, adults, children, and couples.

I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an effective approach for processing and healing from trauma and related mental health conditions. Additionally, I incorporate various therapeutic modalities to help individuals better understand their behaviors, emotions, and motivations. With over 10 years of experience in grief therapy—both in group and individual settings—I focus not only on loss due to death but also on the grief that arises from life transitions and significant stressors.”

Being understood is vital in any relationship; it nurtures trust and deepens your connection. Make it a habit to practice active listening and validate your partner's feelings, creating a safe space for open and honest expression.

How will you show your partner that you understand them today? Try asking open-ended questions, reflecting back what you hear, or simply offering your presence when they need to talk.
