A couple of years ago United Healthcare decided they were going to make chiropractors get prior authorization on their patients who had United Healthcare Insurance (UHC) when they wanted to see their chiropractor. We all know that most patients can't sit around and wait until their health insurance approves their visits! Also, our office doesn't have the time to do this unnecessary task. Well, evidently United Healthcare got the hint when a bunch of chiropractors decided not to be in there network and patients did not pick UHC as their insurance! UHC has now decided that prior authorization to see a chiropractor is not good for your health! That chiropractic is actually a great way to relieve your back pain! Yes, this is a small miracle!
