⚡️ Nordic Curl Do’s & Don’ts: Train for Injury-Proof Hamstrings! ⚡️
You have the Groll Family Fitness Squat We**ie Nordic Curl—now use it to build serious, resilient strength! The Nordic Hamstring Exercise (NHE) is key for eccentric strength, which prevents those painful hamstring strains.

Here’s your quick-hit guide to great form:
✅ DO THIS:
Control the Drop: Slowly lower your body forward (aim for 3-5 seconds!). This eccentric resistance is the goal
Start Easy: Use a resistance band to assist the lift if you’re a beginner. Build control first!
Kneel Padded: Always kneel on a cushion or pad for comfort and consistency

❌ NOT THAT.
Don’t Pike: Avoid bending at the hips. Keep your core tight and your body in a straight line from head to knees.
Don’t Free-Fall: When you fatigue, catch yourself gently with your hands. Dropping suddenly reduces the muscle-building tension.
Don’t Rush: This exercise is hard! Focus on quality reps over high volume. Slow progression is the winning strategy.
