Age is Just a Number—Movement is the Medicine!

Think you’re “too old” to get fit? Think again. Science shows that staying active is the #1 way to stay young.

It’s never too late: You can build muscle and strength in your 70s, 80s, and beyond.

Prevent falls: Exercise doesn’t make you fall; it builds the balance and agility that keep you upright.

Brain boost: Physical activity is proven to keep your memory sharp and your mind clear.

Small Doses: Aim for 150 minutes a week and break it up. Even 10-minute brisk walks or gardening are effecetive!

The bottom line is you don’t stop moving because you grow old; you grow old because you stop moving.

💧 1. Ditch the Drink
Save your calories for the food you actually love. Sugary drinks add up fast—water keeps you full and feeling good.

🥦 2. Lean & Green First
Build your plate with protein + veggies before diving into the carbs. Fill up on the good stuff, then choose the treats that are truly worth it.

🛑 3. Just Say No
Holiday food pushers are real 😂 but your goals matter. You’re in charge of what goes on your plate.

🐢 4. The Two-Bite Rule
The best flavor is in the first two bites! Slow down, enjoy it, and skip the mindless overeating.

🥗 5. Bring Your Own Dish
Not sure what’s being served? Bring something delicious and healthy so you have a solid option.

🧘 6. De-Stress the Holidays
Stress = cravings. Use the 3 R’s: Remove what you can, Relieve with movement or deep breaths, and Reduce by shifting your mindset.

🚫 7. Out of House, Out of Mouth
If treats aren’t around, you won’t eat them. If you bake, package them up and share the love!

Added sugar derails goals fast. Stick to natural sugars and savor the desserts you really want—with the 2-bite trick.
