Our very own Troy Graves represented us well at the Preston High School Job Fair (and rumor has it, he even pretended to appreciate homework this time around). 🤓✏️
Troy had an amazing time meeting local students, answering questions, and sharing all the perks of working in grocery—teamwork, customer service skills, flexibility, growth opportunities… and yes, the occasional donut from the bakery. 🍩🍰🥯
At Stokes, we’ve always supported and valued education. We absolutely love our high school employees, and we’re proud to say we recruit the very best right here in our community.

We feel that it is important that we give our employees an opportunity to spend time with their families.
In an effort to do so, Stokes Market, Stokes True Value Hardware and Larry’s Family Pharmacy will be closed on Thursday, November 27th, 2025 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
We appreciate your understanding and will resume regular business hours on Friday, November 28th. We are grateful for your continued support and are proud to be a part of this wonderful community. 🦃🍁🏈

Today, and every day, we pause to say thank you to the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, honor, and sacrifice.
Your dedication and love of country protect the freedoms we cherish, and we are deeply grateful.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the families of our veterans - the spouses, children, parents, and loved ones who stand behind their heroes with quiet strength and unwavering support. Your sacrifices are seen and appreciated.

His son Eldon furthered his dream in the 1960's when he bought a small store in Burley, Idaho and the first Stokes Market was born. Eldon's son John joined his father in 1973 when he moved to Burley to extend the family dream. Together John and Eldon opened new locations throughout Idaho. Today that dream is being realized by several amazing store operators & a few members of the Stokes family in Idaho, Montana and Utah.
Stokes Market strives to maintain the generational goals & values in order to provide an exceptional shopping experience for their guests. We offer a clean, bright, modern store, with the freshest meats, deli, produce, and bakery. In many ways we are very old fashion. We scratch bake with fresh donuts and breads every day. Our meats are always cut in store and are local, fresh, certified all natural and you will never see it with an ingredients list. We pride ourselves in the freshest produce year around. And if it is in season, then it is local as well!
