February is National Pet Dental Health Month!
🦷Recently we treated:
🐶 A young dog with a fractured tooth and retained baby teeth
🐱 A young cat with painful gingivostomatitis
🐕 A senior dog with severe dental disease requiring extractions
🐕 A senior dog for his yearly routine dental cleaning and x-rays
🐶 A dog with persistent bad breath that was not dental disease at all, but an oral tumor!
Pets should have a dental exam by a veterinarian if there are signs of persistent bad breath, drooling, or changes in eating or chewing habits.
Dental disease often develops out of sight. Pets are remarkably good at hiding discomfort, and appetite alone is not a reliable indicator of oral health.
Routine dental evaluations help us identify problems early and keep pets healthy.
📞 Call us to schedule a dental exam. Ask about 10% off dental cleaning offered year-round when scheduled within 30 days of a physical exam.
