911 services have been restored

Our 911 lines are down and will be getting routed through the Houston County Sheriff's Office. If possible please call us directly by dialing 507-765-3874 and press 1 to reach the dispatcher. Repairs are being made but this outage may continue until the afternoon of 7/11/2025.

The Winona County Sheriff's Office has forms for the 2025 Hidden Heroes Scholarship. Applications are open to current or graduating High School Seniors who attend school or live in Houston, Winona, or Fillmore Counties who wish to purse a degree in Law Enforcement, EMS, Firefighting, Human Services, or other fields of public service. Applications must be post-marked by April 25, 2025. You can pick up a form with the details from the Winona County Sheriff's Office LEC.

Emergency Medical Responder (Hybrid) happening this Spring 2025!

📅Thursdays, online, 7p-9p and Skills days either Saturday/Sunday mornings, based on class availability! We have a significant flexibility with your skills sessions and practice days. We have partnered with Preston Emergency Services and Spring Valley Area Ambulance to accommodate skills practice sessions, for your convenience!

Thursday's online sessions and Skills days will be hosted at Spring Valley Area Ambulance in Spring Valley, MN! If you can't make it down, no worries, log in and get the info from home!

$300 includes tuition, book rentals, CPR Certification, and testing!
