🚨⚠️ Public Safety Advisory: Cyclorphine Detected in Kentucky ⚠️🚨
The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security is warning that Cyclorphine, a highly potent synthetic drug reported to be significantly stronger than fentanyl, has been detected in central Kentucky and is contributing to overdose deaths in neighboring regions, including eastern Tennessee.
Officials say the substance is often mixed with other illegal narcotics, increasing the risk of unintentional exposure. Its presence is expected to expand to additional areas within the Commonwealth.
Authorities are urging:
• Extreme caution when handling unknown substances
• Use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) by first responders
• Immediate treatment of suspected overdoses as medical emergencies
• Reporting confirmed or suspected cases to local public safety agencies
The public is encouraged to remain vigilant, avoid contact with unknown substances, and report suspicious activity to law enforcement.
