✨ Welcoming the New Year with Purpose ✨

As we step into a brand new year, we’re thinking about the goals that matter most—growth, connection, independence, and meaningful progress for the individuals and families we serve.

The New Year is a powerful time to reflect on how far you’ve come and to imagine what’s possible next. Whether your goals include strengthening communication, building daily living skills, increasing confidence, or simply feeling more supported along the way, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

At Frontier Foundation, we’re committed to walking beside families as they set intentional, achievable goals and work toward lasting change. This year, we look forward to expanding opportunities, deepening partnerships, and continuing to provide compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to each individual’s needs.

Here’s to a year of progress, possibility, and strong foundations for the future. 💙

🎄 A Final Holiday Tip: Enjoy a Day of Rest Together
After the excitement of the holiday season, today is the perfect chance to slow down and enjoy some quiet time with your child. Whether it’s snuggling up with a favorite book, listening to calming music, or simply sitting together, take this day to recharge and connect. You’ve both earned it! Rest is an important part of the holiday season—be gentle with yourselves and savor these peaceful moments.

🎄 Merry Christmas from Frontier Foundation 🎄
However today looks—big, small, quiet, or different—it’s enough. We honor the love, effort, and resilience of every family we serve. Wishing you a peaceful and joyful holiday!

🎄 Holiday Tip #10: Model Calm—Even When It’s Hard
Children borrow our nervous systems. Take care of yourself, practice self-care, and model calm even when things get hectic. You’ve got this!

12/24/2025

🎄 Holiday Tip #9: It’s Okay to Leave Early
Leaving before a meltdown is a success, not a failure. If your child is overwhelmed, listening to their needs and leaving early can ensure everyone has a better experience. Trust your instincts.

🎄 Holiday Tip #8: Give Choices Whenever You Can
Choices increase cooperation. Whether it’s what pajamas to wear, which activity to do first, or where to sit, offering options gives your child a sense of control and can reduce anxiety.

12/22/2025

🎄 Holiday Tip #7: Teach Guests How to Help
Let family and friends know what works best for your child. Simple directions, no forced hugs, and giving space when needed can go a long way in making your child feel comfortable.

12/21/2025

🎄 Holiday Tip #6: Prep for Sensory Overload
Lights, music, crowds, and smells can overwhelm quickly. Plan quiet breaks and have an exit strategy ready. Sometimes, stepping away for a few minutes can make all the difference.

12/20/2025

🎄 Holiday Tip #5: Use Timers for Transitions
Timers help children prepare to stop preferred activities—especially helpful during parties or playtime. Having a clear endpoint can make transitions smoother and less stressful.

12/19/2025

🎄 Holiday Tip #4: Predictability Brings Peace
One way to reduce anxiety is by using visual schedules or daily plans. When your child knows what to expect, transitions become much easier. Remember, routine = regulation! Use visuals for gift-opening order, mealtimes, or travel plans to reduce anxiety both at home and on the go.

12/18/2025

🎄 Holiday Tip #3: Reinforce the Good Moments
Catch and praise calm bodies, kind words, and flexibility. Positive attention goes a long way during busy days. Celebrate the small wins—it makes all the difference!
