Brandon James Wilson, was born on August 30, 1974, and on May 4, 2026, Brandon peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, music and loving family.
Preceding him in death was his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae Wilson, maternal grandmother Methard R. Bush Smith Brooks, Six uncles, four aunts, one great aunt and five great uncles.
Brandon had an ebullient personality that lit up any room that he walked into. Brandon never met a stranger and to have known him was to love him. Brandon had an uncanny way of making the most mundane tasks extraordinary. Brandon went through life enjoying every second and marching to the beat of his own drum.
Most importantly, he loved his family and melting pot of friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his parents, Willie James Wilson and Sherrian Smith Wilson and sister, Amy (LeFrazier) Stallworth. Aunts, Sally (Rhuey, Jr.) Jackson, Rosie B. Smith, Janie B. (Robert) Smith, Claretha Patterson. Uncles, Charles Smith, Roy Smith, Melvin Smith, and Terry Wilson. First cousins, Sharon Smith, Michael Smith, Murry D. Horn, Angela D. Smith, Erica Smith, Eric G. Horn, Sr., Joy L. Jackson, Denise Perkins, Krystal Brown, Robin Smith, April Smith, Yolanda Wilson, Kim Smith, Lorkeshia Wilson, Markashia Stokes, Freddie Stokes and James Wilson. Treasured best friends, Martin Nicholas and Dr. Russell Bell. His companion of six years, Ann Esposito, along with a host of cousins, extended family, friends of the Mobile Bay Riders Club, Port City Kayaking, Brandon’s Ride and friends from The Spot of Tea restaurant who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
A public visitation for Brandon James Wilson will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., until 10:00 a.m., funeral at Rice and Reese Funeral Home, 925 S. Bessemer Avenue, Prichard, Al 36610.
