GUESS THE HERB

🌿 My leaves are delicate, feathery, and finely divided, almost fern-like.
2. 🌞 I love the sun and often grow wild in fields and gardens.
3. 🍵 I’m best known for my calming tea, often sipped before bedtime.
5. 🇩🇪 My name hints at my strong ties to German folk medicine.

Patience is part of the process. New tincture packages are brewing quietly in the FARMacy, built on herbs, many have never heard of, with powerful stories. Some are extremely potent, hence the smaller jars. Don’t need much. They won’t be ready for a while… but some things are worth waiting for.

🌄 Even through the smoke, Idaho is still breathtaking.
But my heart is heavy for the families across the West who’ve had to leave their homes, and for those who’ve lost livestock, crops, and so much more. ❤️‍🩹

I’m deeply thankful for the brave men and women who run towards the flames when the rest of us can only watch. You are heroes in the truest sense, and we owe you more than words can say. 🙏🔥

And I’m more than thankful — beyond words, really — that our home hasn’t been touched by these fires. That blessing is not lost on me.

This isn’t just Idaho’s story — it’s the story of the whole West. From Montana to California, we’re breathing the same smoke and praying the same prayers. 🙏 If you’re grateful for the ones who run towards the fire, please share this.

👉 Let’s make sure they know how much we appreciate them.

GUESS THE HERB 🌿

This plant has been treasured for centuries — both for its flavor and its healing qualities. Here are your clues:

1️⃣ My leaves smell sweet and spicy, almost like cloves.
2️⃣ I’m known for helping calm stress and support immunity.
3️⃣ In India, I’m considered sacred and often planted near homes and temples.
4️⃣ Herbalists call me an adaptogen because I help the body handle stress.

Think you know what it is? Drop your guess in the comments! ⬇️

When we were back in North Carolina, my dad told me about how Pappaw used to plant corn and beans together — the beans would climb right up the corn stalks, no poles needed. 🌽 That memory led me to the ancient planting method known as the Three Sisters: corn, beans, and squash working together in harmony.

Corn gives the beans structure, beans feed the soil with nitrogen, and squash (or pumkins) shades the ground to hold in moisture and keep weeds down. 🌱🎃 Together, they create a little ecosystem that protects and nourishes itself — a reminder of the wisdom we can carry forward from the past.

👉 Have you ever tried the Three Sisters planting technique?
