Barstow Acres Children's Center Clinical Services: Individual Therapy, Social Skill Therapy, Parent Training, Therapeutic Summer Camp We are a United Way member Agency. Ms.

Barstow Acres Counseling Center is a 501 C3 non-profit organization located in Prince Frederick, Maryland. BACC is the vision of Sonia Hinds, APRN,BC. Hinds is a registered nurse with a Master's Degree in mental health nursing and a clinical specialist-psychotherapist. Barstow Acres Children’s Center provides a full continuum of evidence-based programs and services designed to promote the health and well-being of children, adults, and families. Our programs are family, school, and community-based and target multiple levels of need – from prevention programs that promote positive behaviors and decrease negative behaviors, to highly-targeted programs designed for at-risk children and teens. Our programs are designed to stabilize and help clients recover from challenges in ways that ultimately strengthen the community.

We are looking to raise funds for our non profit via a small donation of sneakers to gotsneakers, a sneaker recycling company! Drop them off at our office from 9-5, Mondays through Fridays! We are sorry to announce that Barstow Acre's before and after care for our 2024 Therapeutic Summer Camp will no longer be available. To compensate for this we have extended the camp to 4:30pm from 3:00 pm.

Our Therapeutic Summer Camp hopes to help at risk children become more comfortable with themselves, their surroundings, and others! Call or Email for more information, and sign up information is below!
