Dear patients and families,

Our practice has grown and in order to continue to provide you with the best care possible, we have added another orthodontist to the office. We are very excited to welcome Dr. Sam Gurman to Chesapeake Orthodontics!

Dr. Gurman graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Physiology and Neurobiology. He then attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He was awarded the Harry E. Kelsey Award, the Dean's Research Award, and the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Dental Award. He obtained a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Certificate of Orthodontics from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Gurman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Gurman is a native of Maryland and in his free time he enjoys playing and watching ice hockey and golf. He can also be found hiking, gardening, playing bass guitar, and skiing.

Our entire team is so excited to have Dr. Gurman join our practice and we have the utmost confidence that you too will share in our enthusiasm to welcome him to our family!
