Black history lives at the kitchen table, in bedtime stories, in hands held through hardship and hope.

Across generations, Black families have been the architects of care, culture, protection, and love, shaping this nation in ways both seen and unseen.

This Black History Month, we honor the legacy of Black Americans by honoring Black families: the first teachers, first protectors, and first dreamers.

Their strength and resilience builds the communities our children deserve.

Their love carries our nation forward.

Happy Black History Month!

Clear air, clear space, safer sleep.

Soft items like blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, and even adult beds can block a baby’s airway and increase the risk of suffocation. That’s why safe sleep matters so much.

The safest place for a baby to sleep is alone, on their back, in a crib, bassinet, or play yard with a firm mattress and nothing else inside. Clear space helps keep airways open and breathing unobstructed.

Safe sleep isn’t about perfection; it’s about protecting something precious. Learn more at the Safe Sleep Academy. https://safesleepacademy.org/
