Happy Friday! —

We’d love to take a moment to gently clear up what Downtown Princeton, Inc. is… AND what it isn’t.

Downtown Princeton, Inc. is an independent nonprofit organization — which means we don’t receive tax dollars, and we don’t oversee city departments like police, streets, or utilities. Those areas are handled by other dedicated entities who work hard every single day to keep Princeton running.

So what do we do?
A lot of the fun, meaningful, behind-the-scenes things you see and feel downtown 🙌

Downtown Princeton, Inc. is made up of like-minded individuals who care deeply about our historic district(s) and community. In short: we’re here to love on downtown, create a brand and help it thrive.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a downtown event, admired a project, or discovered a new favorite local shop — that’s the kind of impact we aim to make. We always welcome positive ideas, helping hands, and community members who want to be part of the continuity of Downtown Princeton’s success!

Let’s keep this year going strong — rooted in positivity, fueled by community pride, and focused on lifting our small businesses and local non-profits up!
