Remembering 9/11: Caring for Our Mental Health
Today we pause to honor the lives lost and the countless people forever changed by the events of September 11th.
For many, this day can bring back memories of fear, grief, or anxiety—even decades later. If you’re feeling heavy or on edge, you are not alone.
PTSD and other stress reactions can surface long after a traumatic event. Therapy provides a safe space to process those memories, learn coping strategies, and find support.
💙 Whether you experienced the tragedy firsthand, served as a responder, or are simply feeling the weight of remembrance, it’s okay to reach out.
