❤️ Strength. Community. Gratitude. 🩸

We’re so proud to see Dr. Doyle and her family featured by the American Red Cross. During her 4-year-old daughter’s leukemia treatment, lifesaving blood transfusions made all the difference.

This story is a powerful reminder that blood donors truly save lives. ❤️

And a big thank you to Dr. Farrington for hosting!

If you’re able, please consider donating.

Vitamin D and calcium play a key role in building strong bones, especially during infancy, childhood, and the teen years.

From how much vitamin D babies need to daily calcium recommendations by age, it can be hard to know what actually matters and what is already covered through food.

We put together a simple guide that breaks it all down:
• Vitamin D needs for infants, kids, and teens
• Calcium requirements by age
• Food sources that count
• Common supplements and what they provide

If you have ever wondered whether your child is getting enough, this guide is a helpful place to start.

Fears show up at every stage of childhood. 🌱

From infancy through the teen years, worries often change as kids grow and learn. Most fears are part of normal development, but they matter when they begin to affect daily life.

Little hands move fast, so medication safety matters. 💊

A few simple habits help keep kids safe as they explore their world:

• Keep all medicines and vitamins up high and out of sight, including daily medications.
• Avoid leaving medicine on counters, nightstands, or in purses and bags. Store bags on high shelves or hooks.
• Remember that vitamins, diaper rash creams, eye drops, and supplements count as medicine too.
• Always use the dosing device that comes with liquid medicine, not a kitchen spoon.
• If more than one caregiver gives medicine, write down clear instructions for what to give, how much, and when.
• Save the Poison Help number and keep it visible at home: 1 800-222-1222.

Dogs are a big part of many families’ lives, and teaching kids how to behave around them helps keep everyone safe. 🐶
