Early Beginnings Parents As Teachers FREE program for families with prenatal to age three children We are funded by the Illinois State Board of Education to provide this FREE program for families.

Early Beginnings is designed to increase knowledge of child development and parent-child relationships by offering support, resources, and providing developmentally appropriate activities. This program is a Parents as Teachers Model Affiliate. We serve families who live in the Princeton Elementary School District #115 and outlying communities.

The difference between our program and Early Intervention.

Early Intervention: services and supports that are available to babies and young children with developmental delays and disabilities
-child focused
-speech, physical, developmental, occupational, social emotional therapies.

Our Program/Preventative Initiative: intensive, research-based and comprehensive child development and family support services
-family focused
-home visits
-play groups
-resource connections
-referral to Early Intervention
