Citizens of Caldwell county,
We would like to thank you for the opportunity to serve your community for the past 8 years. This morning at the Fiscal Court meeting the members of the court have elected to no longer have ComCare provide ambulance services for your community. We want to make it very clear that we are not giving up nor are we quitting. This is a decision that was made by the fiscal court. We would have welcomed the opportunity to provide access and care to the community for years to come, however the fiscal court changed the requirements in the contract, that in our opinion, were not fiscally or operationally reasonable or acceptable. We have operated under a contract that has been mutually acceptable for the past 8 years. Per our current agreed upon contract ComCare will continue to provide the same high quality services to the community until midnight on June 30th. Again we thank you for 8 years of commitment and ability to provide patient care to families in this amazing community.
