Your baby is breech and your being recommended a c-section. Before you schedule surgery, there’s something you should try: the Webster Technique. 🤰🏽

Breech means that baby is positioned bottom-down or feet-first instead of head-down.

Standard medical approach will recommend two options: External cephalic version (ECV) at 37 weeks (doctor manually flips baby from outside - painful, 50% success, carries risks) OR scheduled C-section.

But here’s what most doctors won’t tell you: Breech position is often caused by pelvic imbalance.

When you address the pelvis, baby often flips on their own.

Why babies go breech:
Babies position where there’s most room. When pelvis is balanced, widest space is at top (where baby’s head should be). Baby naturally goes head-down.

When pelvis is out of balance:
Uterus becomes torqued (twisted), ligaments pull unevenly, less room in lower pelvis, baby positions bottom/feet down (where there’s more space).

The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of subluxation and/or SI joint dysfunction. In so doing neurobiomechanical function in the sacral/pelvic region is improved.

What to expect ⬇️

✨Initial assessment of pelvic balance
✨Check sacral position, round ligament tension
✨Gentle Webster adjustment (lying on pillows or drop away table)
✨2-3x per week until pelvis balances and baby is in a better position
✨Most flip within 2-4 weeks of starting care
✨Continue adjustments through delivery (keeps pelvis balanced for easier birth)

Chiropractic care in pregnancy is vital to the normal physiological function of both the mother and baby throughout pregnancy and birth. The sooner you start prenatal chiropractic care, the better!

If you clench your jaw at night, your pelvic floor is probably tight too.

Did you know that your jaw and pelvic floor have a direct connection to one another?

Your jaw and your pelvic floor are connected through your dura (the membrane running from skull to tailbone), your fascia (connective tissue web), and your nervous system. Tension at one end affects the other end.

When your jaw is tight, it creates tension that travels down to your pelvic floor. When your pelvic floor is tight, it travels UP to your jaw.

What this looks like:
You have TMJ pain, jaw clenching, teeth grinding AND pelvic floor dysfunction - incontinence, pain with s*x, tight hips. You’re going to the dentist for your jaw and pelvic floor PT for your pelvis. But nobody’s addressing the CONNECTION.
Your dentist gives you a night guard.
Your PT gives you exercises.
But if your spine is creating tension at BOTH ends, neither treatment sticks.

How chiropractic addresses both:
✓ Upper cervical adjustments release neck tension affecting jaw mechanics
✓ Cranial work adjusts skull bones that affect TMJ
✓ Sacral adjustments release pelvic floor tension
✓ Full spine alignment addresses postural compensations
✓ Nervous system regulation shifts you out of stress mode so both areas release

What people tell us?

Your jaw and pelvic floor aren’t separate issues - they’re two ends of the same tension pattern.

Stop treating them in isolation. It’s time to address the entire system.

Nobody wants to talk about bedwetting after age 5, but so many families are dealing with it in secret.

You’ve tried everything. Limiting drinks after 6pm, waking them up twice a night, pull-ups they hate wearing, reward charts that make everyone feel bad when they don’t work.

Your pediatrician says “they’ll grow out of it” while you watch your child’s self-esteem crumble with every wet sheet.

They’re refusing sleepovers, camp, overnight trips. Carrying shame for something they literally cannot control.

Your child is not lazy and they’re not doing this on purpose. Their nervous system physically cannot send the signal from their bladder to their brain during sleep.

Bladder control - especially nighttime - is controlled by nerves from the lower spine (L2-L4) and sacrum. These nerves tell your child’s brain when their bladder is full during sleep so they can wake up.
When the lower spine or sacrum are out of balance (from birth trauma, learning to walk and falling hundreds of times, sports impacts, growth spurts), those nerve signals don’t transmit properly. The bladder fills, but the brain doesn’t get the message.

This is not a behavior problem. This is a sign of nervous system dysfunction.

We’ve had kids stop bedwetting within 2-3 weeks of starting care. Lower back and sacral adjustments restore nerve signals in which brain-bladder communication starts working. Bedwetting resolves naturally.

Your child deserves to sleep without shame. They deserve a nervous system that works the way it’s supposed to.
