Celebrating Palm Sunday at RiverOaks with joy and special moments! 🌷🐰 Our Easter Brunch was filled with connection, fun, and a heartfelt milestone — our resident Granny K turned 101! 🎉 Her family surprised us with 101 cupcakes to share with staff and residents. The Easter Bunny brought smiles to everyone’s faces! 🐇 Our festive buffet featured ham, prime rib, veggie lasagna, cinnamon rolls, and more delicious treats like Strawberry Shortcake and Robin Egg Cheesecake. Join us for Mother’s Day in May to create more memories!

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with RiverOaks! 🍀 We started the day with a cozy pizza lunch in the activity room—perfect for the chilly weather. Residents enjoyed festive pistachio cupcakes, lively games like Springtime Jingo and St. Pats Trivia with George, and lots of laughs, prizes, and creative costumes! 🥳 Green beer and sherbet punch added to the fun. And the celebration isn't over—tonight, we're excited to enjoy live entertainment by Angela! 🎶

Today we’re celebrating an incredible milestone at River Oaks! 💙

When Emory arrived at our rehab home, he needed support with daily activities and mobility after a recent hospitalization. Through determination, personalized therapy, and the compassionate care of our amazing clinical team, his progress has been nothing short of inspiring.

With the help of our skilled nurses and rehabilitation therapists, he regained strength, improved balance, and rebuilt confidence step by step. From assisted transfers to walking independently again — every milestone was a victory worth celebrating! 🎉

Today, we’re proud to share that Emory has successfully met their therapy goals and is transitioning to the next chapter with greater independence and renewed confidence.

Stories like this remind us why we do what we do — helping our residents heal, thrive, and return to the life they love. 💫

Congratulations to John Niemann, our deserving recipient of the O' Great One (OGO) award! 🌟 John was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was an army brat who moved alot but spent summers in Indiana on his grandparent's farm. He and his wife Dawn met in high school and later moved back here to Patoka to help his grandparents with their farm. They own Nieco's Salon in Princeton. He says his heart is rooted in country life. John brings dedication and care to our community. Whether he's fishing, duck hunting, or spending time with his dogs, King & Noel, his passion for life shines through. 🎣🦆🐕🐾 One fun fact is that John managed Ted Nugent's store, Bowhunter"s World, 🏹 in Jackson, Michigan, and is listed as a friend on 2 of his albums!!! 🎶🎸🎤
John's favorite part about RiverOaks is helping put a smile on someone's face. He says "you've got to laugh at yourself and not take things too seriously." As a valued Plant Services Assistant, John exemplifies commitment and community spirit. Thank you, John, for your outstanding service! 🏆

Cold air, warm hearts! Winter Gala at RiverOaks Health Campus was an evening of elegance where our residents stepped into a magical winter wonderland! Beautifully lit trees shimmered throughout the campus and lights set the perfect mood for a spectacular dinner together. Guests arrived dressed to impress in chilling satin & sparkles. Live entertainment swept us away with winter waltzes. It was truly a cool night of joy, community, and unforgettable memories! Moments like these want us to stay frozen in time!
