✨ Early this March, McDonough District Hospital in Macomb hosted ICAHN and Laerdal Medical for an immersive, scenario-based simulation focused on managing precipitous deliveries and neonatal assessment and stabilization.
The training gave several rural Illinois Emergency Department staff, EMS providers, OB and Med-Surg nurses a chance to practice rare but high-risk obstetric and neonatal scenarios and improve their neonatal assessment and stabilization skills.
