April is Autism Awareness Month đź’™
At Beacon Specialized Living, we believe in embracing differences and empowering every individual to shine in their own way. This month, we’re honoring the autism community by spreading awareness, promoting acceptance, and sharing valuable information.
🔹 Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental condition that affects how a person communicates, interacts, and experiences the world.
🔹 It’s called a spectrum because every individual is unique—there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
🔹 1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism, and early understanding and support can make a world of difference.
Let’s work together to create a more inclusive world—where neurodiversity is celebrated and every person is seen, heard, and respected.
