Avoid Dairy with certain skin allergies, asthma, ear and sinus infections, auto immune conditions, hormone imbalances etc. Must eat organic and less is more. TCM doesn’t recommend fasting. Vegetarian diets are good, must be balanced.

Happy Holidays

🎃Autumn is Season of Metal in Chinese Medicine.

Stay lubricated and Moisturized Internally with omega rich foods, pure water, mucilaginous type foods to nourish and strengthen the Lungs.

Avocado, Squash, Okra, Bananas are Mucilaginous, Slippery. Helps the Stomach Lining.

The Stomach Likes to Be Moist. The Spleen likes to be Dry. The Stomach and Spleen are Yin/Yang Pair. They send Energy to Eachother. It is Complex to Balance a Moist Stomach and Dry Spleen.

These Systems Help Build Strong Blood and QI in the Body, From the Foods We Eat.
Chew Your Food Well and Eat Slowly. Sitting Down, Being Peaceful.

Late Summer is the Element Earth Which Pertains to the Stomach & Spleen Systems. We Just Left Earth 🌏 Now, Headed to/in Metal~ Fall is Metal Element in Chinese Medicine.

White Colored Nuts Like Macadamia Nuts, Almonds, Pistachios.

Eat Soup, drink warm water, avoid cold water.

Avoid Cold Plunging if Stressed. Cold Congeals.

When the Parasympathetic and Sympathetic Nervous Systems are Stressed, Cold Plunges Don’t Help.
It Taxes the Nervous System more.

Eat white foods, and drink Bone Broth. Eat Root Vegetables to Strengthen your Stomach, Spleen, Lungs, and Kidneys. Congee fortifies these Systems as Well. Eat Cauliflower, Pears, Lychee, Potatoes, Rice, Apples, Lotus Root, Radish.

~White Foods~Onions, Garlic - in moderation.

~The Kidneys are Represented in the Winter Season. Autumn Prepares us for the Winter Season through Healthy Preparation.

Avoid Feeling Sad, Guilty, Lonely as these Emotions Weaken the Lungs.

Do Qikung, TaiChi, Yoga, Cardio, and Do Breathing Exercises to Strengthen the Lungs. Get Acupuncture, Moxa, and Chinese Fire Cupping for Lungs and QI.

Exterior Wind Can Adversely Affect our Bodies by Bringing in Pathogens. Examples: Colds, Flus, Sinus Infections, Ear Infections.

Cover Your Neck, Head, Shoulders When Exposed to Wind. Wind Commonly Brings in External Pathogens Via the Back of the Neck.

Cover Your Midriff and Lower Back as a Woman During your Cycle. Women Benefit From Refraining from Cold Plunging and Drinking Cold Drinks & Foods Too During Cycles.Cold Congeals Blood Flow.
