A suncatcher is another beautiful way to keep your loved ones near you always. 💗

Swarovski crystals and glass beads are handcrafted into a brilliant suncatcher that casts thousands of tiny rainbows when the sun catches it. ✨

Each glass bead contains a small amount of cremains, so when the rainbows dance through the crystals, you are joyously reminded of the time and love you shared 💕🪽🌈

Hello friends, old and new ❤️

We’d like to reintroduce ourselves. We provide pet memorial and cremation services to the central Oregon area, and beyond.

Our story begins with our bright-eyed and happy-go-lucky dog, Annie. She was unlike any animal that had set foot into our lives. Her soul spoke directly to your heart. She had an undeniable intelligence, an infectious energy, and the purest love for her family. Just as in your household, Annie was not just our “pet,” she was a key member of our family.

We weren’t prepared to lose her. She was too young and too full of life. When we were unexpectedly faced with her death, we not only searched for an appropriate after care service, but compassionate individuals that would support us through our grief, as well as, care for our beloved Annie with dignity and respect. Unfortunately, our options were extremely limited, and our experience left us even more unsettled.

From that moment, in 2006, we vowed that not a single other person would have to experience what we had. We set out to provide the members of our community an option for pet cremation where they felt compassion and understanding; one that could lend an ear or even a hug, and one where they could feel at ease in knowing their pets are cared for with honor.

Together, our team strives to provide first-rate private cremation care for the Central Oregon community. Both attentive and professional, all of us at Annie’s are here for you during this difficult moment. We hope to help ease the pain by answering your question of, “What do I do now?”

Annie is the heart of our business and our daily inspiration. We can only hope that she continues to heal the hearts of those who need her most for years to come.

We are happy to answer your questions with care and transparency.

Take care,

Annie’s Healing Hearts

Jenny was kind enough to update this post. I text Sharron often, just to let her knows we miss her and encouraging her. I was happy today as her response was “come See me!!!” I will sneak away Monday afternoon to spent some time with her.

She is tough, but needs our support, who knows what her new normal will look like, she has a long journey ahead of her.

A donation in any amount is greatly appreciated ❤️and please share this post so more people will see it.

Thank you
Michelle

A sick bat found in southwest Bend last week has tested positive for rabies, and Deschutes County Public Health is encouraging residents to take necessary precautions to protect their families and pets from the viral disease.

Rabies is spread to humans and pets through a bite or scratch from an infected animal. While a post exposure vaccination is effective, the best way to avoid rabies is to take the following precautions:

• Avoid physical contact with bats – healthy, sick, alive, or dead. Be sure to keep children and pets away from bats.
• Do not hand feed or otherwise handle stray animals and wildlife.
• Vaccinate all dogs, cats and ferrets against rabies. This protects them and provides an immune barrier between humans and wild animals.

If you see a bat that is active during the day, is in an unusual location (like inside a home), or is flopping around on the ground and unable to fly, take children and pets to a safe location and call the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) at (541) 388-6363 or contact a local Wildlife Control Operator. https://bit.ly/3WpNBJ8

If a person or pet does come in physical contact with a bat or is bitten by an animal, promptly report it to Deschutes County Animal Control at (541) 693-6911 or Deschutes County Environmental Health at (541) 317-3114.

For more information about rabies, please review resources from the Oregon Health Authority https://bit.ly/3DAGmDU and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. https://bit.ly/2rMY3f3
