Our residents recently enjoyed a day out to explore the Peterson's Rock Museum and Peacock Sanctuary in Redmond,OR. The rain started to pour on our drive over and during our visit inside the museum, but then the rain stopped completely for us to be able to explore the grounds. It was a great day!

We make a trek out to Walton lake and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! Jack even caught 2 fish while we were there! The Sandwiches tasted better than ever and the watermelon was fantastic. But the company is what really made it all worth while! The view was breathtaking as well! It was fun that more of the Village staff could tag along for the trip this time too!

We got our creative juices flowing at the The Art Corral on NE 7th St in Prineville. Thank you so much to Rae being a gracious host! Residents got to glaze their own mugs and had a fun time chatting it up. It was such and nice and relaxing trip! We'll be back!

Our residents had an "EGG"cellent time during our Egg Drop Contest! I wish we were able to take more pictures but even so, it was a fantastic time and out of the 6-7 vessels that were created we only lost two eggs. Our winning entry this year and trophy recipient was "Wild Child". I'm excited to see what we have next year.

Thank you to the Prineville Parks and Recreation Dept. for allowing our residents to fish in town after our bus had to go to the shop. It was so great that we didn't have to cancel our outing! We had a lovely picnic lunch and had a wonderful time enjoying being outside in the sunshine!

The residents enjoyed a trip to Grandma Roses Petting Zoo today. They saw LIONS TIGERS and BEARS oh my! Well not exactly but they got to see some really neat animals from Africa and Australia. They got to hold baby kangaroos, parrots, lizards, snakes, bunnies and chinchillas! Grandma Rose AKA "Linda" was super sweet and such a wonderful host! We look forward to going back again soon!
