One can make this recipe into a spray by replacing the aloe vera gel with aloe vera water.
To make it have a longer shelf life, use distilled water.
This DIY On Guard hand cleansing spray is an easy and convenient way to clean your hands.

NOTE: You can substitute alcohol for water 50:50 (Everclear, Vodka, or Rubbing alcohol or Witch Hazel). However, some find the rubbing alcohol can be drying to the skin and while the other alcohols are food grade - some may not want that around. Thus, witch hazel would be a good choice. The alcohol & witch hazel act as an emulsifier (meaning it helps it all blend). And as this recipe shows, you don't have to have the alcohol to receive support from the oil.
