ten years ago, I was a different version of myself. I was a mother who didn’t know her options, didn’t know her strength, and certainly didn’t know that “doula” was a word that would eventually define my life.
my four births were my greatest teachers. from the confusion of my first labor to the power of my fourth birth at home, I learned that while birth is natural, we aren’t meant to do it alone. we deserve to be present through it all without confusion and without questions we don’t have answers to. we deserve full belief in ourselves. we deserve to be physically supported. we deserve guidance, comfort, emotional safety, and genuine care. and we definitely deserve to have the most transformative moments of our lives captured with intention.
I became a doula and birth photographer because I want to bridge the gap between “getting through it” and feeling truly empowered and present in such a sacred experience. I want to give you the continuous presence I lacked and to capture it all so you can look back at the beauty and awe of it all.
are you planning your upcoming birth? I would love to be the person standing by your side and capturing your story. click the link in my bio to learn more about my birth support and photography packages. 🫶🏼
