A recent visit brought smiles to the team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Prosper. Former patient Ann Lilly, wife of Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Bob Lilly, returned to the hospital and shared an inspiring update on her recovery.

Ann came to Encompass Health following a stroke and quickly became known for her strength, grace and positive spirit. Her progress throughout rehabilitation inspired staff from admission through discharge. One year later, Ann returned with her husband and continues to do remarkably well. Seeing her continued progress serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of rehabilitation.

Moments like these, when former patients return thriving and smiling, reflect why the work of rehabilitation is so meaningful. Thank you, Ann, for reminding us that recovery continues well beyond discharge.

This week, we celebrated an incredible milestone worth recognizing. Tammy Hermann, our admissions liaison, has been with Encompass Health for 30 years. Tammy’s journey began as an admissions liaison at our Dallas hospital.

After three impactful years there, she transferred to our Plano hospital, where she continued to shine. Tammy then stepped into the marketing liaison role, spending an impressive 21 years supporting and growing the North Texas team while building relationships and making a lasting impact.

Most recently, Tammy transferred to our Prosper hospital, where she is now in her third year and proudly played a key role in opening the hospital. It has truly been a fun-filled ride, and we can’t thank you enough for your hard work, dedication and passion over the past three decades.

Congratulations on 30 years of excellence, Tammy.
